The Imagineers designed the greatest Hidden Mickey ever in the inside part of the entrance queue of Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid. This classic (three-circle) Hidden Mickey appears each year near noon on Mickey Mouse’s birthday (November 18). Holes in the rockwork were created so that when the noontime sunlight shines through, a Mickey-shaped light image appears on the rock wall on the left side of the queue. In 2012, the Mickey light lasted for around 5-7 minutes. The top of Mickey’s head is carved in the inside rock and the lower part of his head is carved in rock higher and farther away from you. The photos below were taken around noon on November 18, 2020.
